Hello – I just randomly happened upon your site while looking for a pattern to sew a Rey costume. I am currently obsessed with her outfit and want to make it in several colors and fabrics for my everyday wear, haha.
Anyway, I am in love with your site. I think what you are doing is very, very cool. Keep it up! I am in awe of the stuff you have done. I can sew, and I do quite often, but I am useless without a pattern. I don’t have the vision that you do!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with in 2016!

Why thank you so much Katie! I very much appreciate your comment. Best of luck with your Rey costume! (I’m so behind on mine…)

Just happened upon your site and I love it! I am the father of three, an experienced nerd if you will. My two little girls and boy were watching The Force Awakens and I asked them who the hero was. They said “Rey!” I then told them they could grow up to be whatever they want, and they don’t have to wait for a boy to be the hero. I don’t know how many female nerd role models they will have growing up, but this site is a great first step. You demonstrate artistry, respect and enthusiasm without making it exploitative. I think you’re doing a great job, keep it up!

Oh dear Cole, your comment made me tear up this morning. Thank you SO much. This is exactly my purpose (along with creativity). I don’t want to be famous. My deep desire is to be a good role model. It warms my heart to hear that I’m on the right track. I’ll try to do my best to do right by your children, you, and many others out there. (And if I somehow don’t, hold me accountable!)

Hello, I thought you’d like to know that you mispelled the word “alot” on your website. I’ve had similar mistakes on my site that keep cropping up so I now use a site like SpellingScan.com to keep them off. -Scott
